West Virginia Grants – The Appalachian Community Fund
Yearly grants are issued by The Appalachian Community Fund as part of the General Fund Program. This program is financed by the Alexander Fund of the New York Community Trust. The Alexander Fund is directed by an annual board with a focus on projects and prorgams that promote social change. These grants are directed more toward organizations and do not really apply to individuals. Grant amounts range from five thousand to ten thousand dollars and cover a number of categories.
