Debt relief companies…anyone used them…?

Has anyone used Clear Credit Solutions to help get rid of their debt..I am thinking of using them to help me get my debt down and wondered if anyone else has used them…I just want to make sure they are legit before I go ahead…Thanks for the help!
Don’t do it! Even if this company is credible the program they use will ruin your credit and could backfire on you. What they do is tell you to stop paying your credit cards until they get charged off so you end up with tones of 30, 60, 90+ days late on your credit report along with a bunch of charge offs and these won’t go away for 7 years. Then you’ll have collection agencies calling you non-stop and harassing you to pay these bills which will have been earning interest while you weren’t paying and will be even higher than they are now, and even if you can settle them for 50% of the debt it’s still almost as high as it already is.
My advice do it yourself! Call your creditors adn ask for lower APR’s then start snowballing your debt. Pay as much as you can….I mean every spare cent you have…. cut costs in your budget in other areas if you can…. on the account with the highest interest (while still paying at least the minimum on everything else) until it is paid off then take all that money and start paying down the account with the next highest interest and so on until your debt is gone. It takes time and commitiment but it won’t ruin your credit.
